Quicksilver Messenger Service was one of the most important bands of San Francisco. Formed in 1965, their sound mixed blues, folk and jazz passed through an acid rock filter. Our original design, done in two colors, inspired by the Vienna Secession, art movement that would be a great influence to many West Coast artists as Wes Wilson when creating posters for the mythical Avalon or Fillmore Auditorium whose scenarios Quicksilver were regulars.
