Los Salvajes were a Spanish rock band from Barcelona founded in 1962. This band was known in its day as the Spanish Rolling Stones, since the influence of the British band in them was evident (although they also had as a great reference to The Who). That made them have a harder style than usual in Spanish rockers of the moment (Los Brincos, Los Sírex or Los Mustang), to the point of being considered by critics as Spanish precedents (along with groups such as Los No, Los Polares, Los Cheyenes or Los Huracanes) of what was later called Garage rock.
