The Purple Weekend Festival organizes a conference on psychedelia at the MUSAC

On the occasion of the 2019 edition of the Purple Weekend, the MUSAC (Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla y León) organizes a conference on psychedelia.

On Thursday, December 5, the exhibition “Escuchando colores, viendo sonidos” (Listening to colors, seeing sounds) will be inaugurated. A visual walk from the 60s to the present. This exhibition, through a selection of pieces that includes posters, records or fanzines, highlights the influence of psychedelia in multiple contemporary manifestations of eminently underground vocation, with bands, record labels and plastic artists that keep it in force. The exhibition is curated by Eva Lopez Campesino and can be visited until January 5, 2020.

After the opening of the exhibition, the session “Lights and music: a psychedelic experience” will take place, by DJ Carlos Dorian and artist Alex Plays, who will perform a visual show.
